Salaryman

Sculpture of a sleeping businessman cast in polyurethane (10 meters) resembles the canonic reclining Buddha.

Salaryman’s duty is to provide and create material wealth and keep the capital flowing. By doing so an economic dependence on growth is created. The Buddha himself was a prince who left the royal court in search of the essence of existence. The Businessman-Buddha sculpture is a symbol for a money-driven man’s enlightenment that leads to liberation.
